Poorly designed and broken app. The home tab is broken. Muting a single author triggers a refresh of the entire page but fails to look as any new notes. Manually refreshing the home tab fails to load anything, including content already shown. And for some bizarre reason the inbox is shoved on the top of the home tab even though it has it's own dedicated tab.

Substack is a nifty addition to modernity. Several foibles left to resolve, somehow two emails are being used when I sign up for sub stacks and depending on the position of my phone whether vertical or horizontal two different versions of sub stack open up with similar but not identical logos. I can open a link to a substack from one email and it's appearing on the sub stack app for the other email. I have no other apps that jump emailsThe play audio button does not always show on either email.

Love the content, but the navigation is queasy. I get a notification that someone liked my comment; okay; I click the notification; in the ensuing screen, all I see is the comment, not even a [back arrow] to the original article. Also, the writer/publication duality can render things confusing for the readers. Most writers only write the one thing, and most readers don't think the way the app-makers have envisioned it. Can we not have a HOME button?
