NFTs, QR Code and Simplified Onboarding
The team behind the Nodle Network has been working all summer to deliver some exciting new features. As a result, the Nodle App has undergone significant improvements. These improvements will help enhance user experience and provide key elements to further the utility and usability of the Nodle Network.
New and Simplified Onboarding
To provide the best-streamlined experience, users can now onboard the Nodle App with just one click by simply choosing to “Create new wallet.” This shortens the onboarding time and allows users to start receiving and sending NODL and NFTs immediately.
Users start earning rewards right away when they click “Start earning NODL,” allowing location sharing and switching Bluetooth “on.”
NFT Capabilities
The Nodle App now fully supports NFTs. In addition, users can directly send and receive them within the app.
The NFTs will be available for users who participate in so-called “smart missions” within the app. Users can click on a link or scan a QR code as they become available. The missions will provide a complete description of how to participate. As a reward for participation, users will see a preview of the NFT. They can then click the “Receive” button and have the NFT added to their Nodle wallet.
After receiving the NFT, it will appear in the user’s NFT list below the balance. The user can click on the NFT and see its details.
Soon, network participants will also be able to mint their NFTs on the Nodle network in a programmatic way. Once this feature is available, a how-to guide detailing the process will be shared.
The cool features don’t end there: Just like NODL tokens, NFTs are transferable in the same way. Users can simply click the “Send” button below their balance, enter the recipient’s wallet or scan their QR code, select the NFT and confirm the transfer; that’s all!
It is also possible to start the transfer from the NFT details screen by clicking the “Send” button.
QR Code
The new QR code functionality makes it easy to transfer NODL and NFTs. First, open the QR code scanner in the app (next to the balance) or the native camera app to scan the recipient’s QR code.
Their public key will be retrieved from the QR code and populated automatically. Then, the user will need to enter the amount of NODL or select the NFT, and confirm the transfer.
This way of doing a transfer is safer and eliminates human error while entering the recipient’s public key. Click the “Receive” button below the balance to access and share your QR code.
