Many of you know politics as “the reason you don’t play even though you are doing all that the coach has asked of you.” That is politics, my friends – doing everything right and still not getting the opportunity that you deserve. As a professional athlete, I have had my fair share of dealing with politics, and I know exactly how you feel when you are experiencing it. You are not alone, and it is important for you to understand that. Although I have reached the professional level, that doesn’t mean I didn’t have to overcome politics along the way. Through my experience with politics I have learned that in order to overcome it, it takes character, love, planning, and building relationships.
By reading this ebook, you will learn that there truly is a nasty side to sports, and it is true at every level.
