Stress shows up everywhere.

In our jobs.

In the grocery bill.

In the endless shuffle of family schedules.

In the constant flood of news.

Sometimes it feels like life is just one long list of things demanding our energy.

We can’t eliminate stress, but we can give ourselves micro-breaks from it:

A walk without your phone.

Saying yes to help when it’s offered.

Ten quiet minutes before bed—no laptop.

Small acts don’t erase the entire weight, but they remind us we don’t always have to carry it all at once.

Substack, what’s one small act you do that makes a big impact on releasing stress during your day?

For me, it’s stepping outside for a short walk (even just ten minutes). No phone, no agenda, my face in the sun. Just moving my body and letting my mind go easy. It often feels like a mini reset button for the day. A reminder—how I start my day matters.
