Morning all!

Daughter DISGUSTED with me this morning when, on her first day of S2 (I have no idea what this corresponds to round the globe, but she's nearly 13, so second year of high school here in Scotland) I present her with my own homework diary from that school year.

Absolutely no frame of reference for this artefact now everything happens on an iPad. Horrified at my diligence.

Bless that 13 year old. She was trying to achieve order in chaos, I think. And as the final pic shows, she was doing the same work then she is doing as a 41 year old: looking back to try to understand the present ❤️
