Time, like the breath, is neither wasted nor spent. It simply is. The idea that we can waste time is rooted in the notion that time is something we own, something to be measured, traded, or lost.

But in truth, time is not ours to keep or give away. It is a river that flows, a stream that carries us, moment by moment, through life.

Our language deeply shapes our experience.

If we see time as a currency, we might rush, hoard, or regret how it's used. If we see time as a flowing river, we begin to see time as something we live with, something that nurtures and sustains us, rather than something we consume.

To think of spending time is to forget that we are time. We are not separate from time; we are its expression.

Whether in stillness or action, let time be a companion, not a commodity. Time does not need to be managed or controlled, only embraced, lived, and loved.

Don't only be on time. Be in time.
