Donald Trump pardoned violent insurrectionists (people actually convicted of seditious conspiracy) in his first hour regaining office. While that may or may not be “legal” use of the pardon power, it is definitely disqualifying, particularly since they swore they did it for him, and he knew it. Aid and comfort to insurrection under 14 sec 3.

The Courts acting like citizens, simply asking them to answer a constitutional question, is like Trump asking Pence to “do the right thing” on January 6. Pence said, “It’s not in my power, " and he was correct, but it was also clearly not what the Constitution intended his role to be. Here, this is precisely the role federal Judges are tasked with, in EXACTLY this situation.

Section 3 of the 14th Amendment is not a mirage. It exists, FOR THIS.

Let’s not confuse me calling them cowards, as the same as Donald Trump tweeting that Pence is a coward, while his followers chant “hang Mike Pence”.

This is the sleight of hand republicans use to gaslight you into thinking there’s nothing you can do.

What I’m asking the courts to do is well within their protective capacity of the Constitutional Framework. SAY THE LAW.

It takes bravery and confidence, not hubris.

No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.

I’m not looking to raise money, publish a book, or become famous. I’ve been working on this at my own expense and effort for 3 years. It just frustrates me that NOBODY will engage with the argument, like sec 3 is my imaginary friend or something.
