Midlife didn’t arrive quietly.
It arrived like a storm.
One day I was functioning, coping, pushing through like I always had.
And then suddenly — I wasn’t.
My sleep went sideways.
My energy evaporated.
My weight shifted in ways that made no sense.
My moods were unpredictable.
My body felt foreign.
And the harder I tried to “fix” myself, the worse everything became.
I kept thinking I needed more discipline, more supplements, more willpower.
But nothing worked because I was trying to solve the wrong problem.
This wasn’t a motivation issue.
This was physiology.
And that realisation changed everything.
The Problem With Midlife Health Advice
When I finally started looking for answers, I found noise.
Conflicting advice.
Fear-based messaging.
Quick fixes.
Extreme diets.
Supplements stacked like a pharmacy shelf.
No one was talking about the actual midlife female body — the hormonal shifts, the inflammation, the sleep disruption, the nervous system overload, the metabolic changes.

And no one was offering a calm, evidence-based, lifestyle-first approach.
So I became my own case study.
The Turning Point
My foundation began with PREKURE, where I trained as a Nutrition & Mental Health Coach before going on to specialise with MyMT™.
That was where I first learned how deeply food, physiology, and emotional wellbeing are connected — especially for women in midlife.
But even with that knowledge, my own symptoms kept escalating.
So I went deeper.
I enrolled in the MyMT™ (My Menopause Transformation) practitioner certification, determined to understand what was happening inside my own body.
And I didn’t just study the material.
I used myself as my case study.
Every symptom, every sleepless night, every shift in mood or weight became data.
Not judgment.
Not failure.
Information.
I tracked what helped, what didn’t, what calmed my nervous system, what inflamed it, what supported my hormones, and what sent everything sideways.
And I’m still a work in progress.
