Day 2 Practice Notes - Rams Training Camp

WE GOT MATTHEW STAFFORD PRACTICING BABY!!!

• STAFFORD VS MYLES GARRETT HAS BEGUN

• Stafford strike to Puka over the middle

• Stafford roll right, looks SPRY, dump off to 89

• AND THAT IS A DEEP SHOT TO PUKA

• Getting some GREAT reps best on best

• Getting really good look on offense by Stafford and the 1s

• So far multiple receptions to 17 and 12

• 17 with a drop after making the db fall

• That’s TWO nice catches for CJ daniels

• Offensive playcalling opened up a lot.

• Stsfford whipped a pass right over Q’s head catch by Tae

• Forbes good rep vs Stafford/Tae PBU

• Stafford backshoulder to Konata, vs Watson I believe

• Stafford is fucking locked in

• Cam Lampkin with an INT vs Stetson

• Lampkin has been impressive through the first two days, really enjoying watching his reps. Will look to see if that continues when pads go on

On that INT by Bennett: he stepped up but instead of resetting and striking, decided to throw on the run upfield, miscommunication with the intended receiver, made for an easy ITN for Lampkin lurking inside the curl route

• Stafford deep shot to Puka contested by Trent

• Trent won the hell out of that rep didnt let Puka stack him

• Interesting how the offense operates in practice. Tempo, not rushed,

• Good pass to JWhitt

• Defense still making things muddled every run play

• No pads though still so take that into account

• Those interested in TE play, you’ll get some TE catches peppered in
