The app for independent voices

To my dad and all my ancestors who became stars.

Love leaks through shadows,
dancing to illusions.
Hum an ocean song,
entice dew drops
on autumn mornings—
I keep my windows open,
let them all in.

Paper boats drift along
the streamlets of rain;
love seeps in through
the backdoor in monsoon
while heartstrings wane—
I keep my tears open,
let them all in.

A kite sings from the cliff
and whirlwind lets
shadows loom large,
soaring spirits invite
stars to my lake.
Everyone who left speaks—
I keep my ears open,
let them all in.
