Milestone Update: Hardware Design for LoKAIT Moving Forward!
Good news from behind the scenes of the LoKAIT project!
This week, we had a deep and productive conversation with the brilliant hardware engineering team at soluware.de, part of the schulz-group.com/en. Together, we reviewed the full technical vision for LoKAIT — from rugged enclosures and solar power to stereo cameras and offline AI inference.
The outcome?
They’ve agreed to deliver a formal offer next week for the complete hardware design of the LoKAIT device — including PCB Gerber files, BoM, and mechanical interface guidance.
This brings us one step closer to building LoKAIT at scale — a device that can deliver education anywhere, from a refugee camp in Sudan to a mountain village in Nepal, with no internet, no grid, and no limits.
To everyone supporting LoKAIT: thank you for being part of this mission.
We are building knowledge access — one device at a time.
More updates soon. Stay connected. Stay inspired.
