An Israeli soldier shot and killed a mentally ill young man after he crossed the "yellow line" east of Deir al-Balah. His family, unable to control his movements, dug a grave 300 metres from his corpse but aren't allowed to retrieve it.

For 2 days, his mother waves a white flag from dawn to sunset, hoping Israeli forces will permit her to recover his body, but she receives no response. The desperate family has now pleaded on Facebook for international help to bury their child.
