What transit riders want from a schedule is NO schedule. They don’t want to think about it at all.

Instead, they want to know that whenever they arrive at a transit stop, the next vehicle will arrive in a few minutes.

How many minutes is ‘a few’? Experience says not more than ten.

This means the ideal service departs at least six times an hour.
