After an especially challenging week with my students, I had to be out of the classroom Friday afternoon for a meeting. I expected a huge mess as I returned to my classroom so that I could clean it and reset for Monday. When I opened the door, I was greeted with a spotless and completely reset room and this message written on the board:

Mr. Neibauer you are the best.

Whenever I begin to lose faith in my job as a teacher, my students remind me that I must be doing something right.
