B’Tselem published a new report titled “No Place Under Heaven,” documenting Israel’s forced displacement of the Palestinian people in Gaza from 2023 to 2025.

This displacement was not incidental, but rather a central policy of Israel’s genocidal war.Since October 2023, around 1.9 million Palestinians have been displaced, with many families uprooted multiple times—some as many as six times in a single year.

The report states that the army issued at least 161 evacuation orders across the Gaza Strip, directing civilians to so-called “safe” or “humanitarian” zones, which lack shelter, food, water, healthcare, and sanitation.
