Cultism is a thing. It can be very powerful in the lives of some. Are those individuals predisposed to the cultist’s messages? Is it easier for them to fall under the spell of misdirection, lies and manipulation of the truth?

Sadly, I see a direct correlation between believing and cultism. Does being a believer rather than a thinker make a person an unwitting target for cults. Does religion do a disservice to humanity, in equal parts, as a service for those who are built to believe? In a secular country founded upon freedom of religion, which in turn is a freedom from religion, how is it possible cults like MAGA flourish?
