Make money doing the work you believe in

I was raised by a man like this. So many women and survivors know men like this. Men who make grand promises, take minimal to zero action and then find a scapegoat when their grandeur is threatened. Men who are so privileged, hoarding power unchecked—leaving destruction in their wake.

Naming lies truth. His promises so cunning. Removing critical thinking ever so slowly from his following—rewarding those who relinquish it and punishing those who question, and don’t agree.

So blind, he believes his own lies. There is no “truth” anymore, but his.

The reflecting pool is a vivid metaphor for Trump’s presidency. Grandeur. Exploitation. Misdirection. Scapegoating. And his following eats from his hand—gulping up every word with a blind insatiable devotion.

The emperor has no clothes.

I don’t care what anyone says, it will take a lifetime or more for the country and its people to recover from this man and his administration. His destruction is fast moving and his arms long—holding an immense amount of invisible strings. His power unchecked and his misdirection well honed. A deadly combination.

A wolf in sheep’s clothing.
