Spielberg lost all credibility with me when he made that horrendous colonizer wet dream animated film, THE ROAD TO ELDORADO, with the goofy happy-go-lucky conquistadores and their oversexed Indigenous seductress guide. The Aztec Empire was portrayed as run by idiot “savages” who thought the lead characters were Gods. All supposed to be funny. In truth, the Spanish colonizers raped and murdered millions of Indigenous people in the Americas, including here in NM. My ancestors were among the colonizers and the colonized. I will not be watching his newest.
