Canada is facing a dual threat: an increasing military pacing threat in the north and an adversarial economic threat in the south. To protect our northern Arctic border and national security, we need a strong domestic economic engine. Building a broad industrial strategy and inserting ourselves as an indispensable node in the coming Industrial Revolution is critical.

This one hits me hard. For reasons other than American politics, the West’s betrayal of Ukraine, Trump’s betrayal of his allies.

It’s hard to walk back betrayal.

And Trump isn’t even trying.
