I cook a lot out of Julia Turshen’s Small Victories and Simply Julia cookbook, and Deb Perelman’s smitten kitchen books. And NYT cooking app is a treasure trove as well. I also have a few cookbooks from women in my hometown who were excellent home cooks who had their own collections typed up.
Additionally, my grandmother’s tradition when a granddaughter gets married is to give a huge wooden box full of all of laminated family recipe cards she’s typed up and saved for the last 50 years. She formats them and laminates them all herself. There are several hundred in the box she gave me.
