When Canada speaks, the truth is heard, even here in the U.S. where truth has become a blur. Trump and MAGA have been so successful at changing fact to alternate fact, that we can no longer discern reality within our own borders.

How do we assess our situation? Where do we turn for truth?

If a couple is fighting, each believing he or she is correct, they might turn to a good friend to ask for an objective opinion, knowing that each is no longer able to be objective.

Our bellwether for reason and sanity must now come from outside of our country — from true friends with whom our values have always aligned and we have long been allied. It is our best source for objectivity.
