Between a Republican Congressman carrying on about how we must cut government spending by ending Social Security and Medicare and an obscenely wealthy health insurance CEO being shot to death, the United States is an international capitalism-over-human-rights embarrassment.

Every time I write about Social Security, I repeat this for those in the back: SOCIAL SECURITY IS NOT AN ENTITLEMENT. IT IS YOUR MONEY. IT WAS WITHHELD FROM YOUR PAYCHECK. YOU COULD NOT OPT OUT. STOP LETTING THESE ASSHOLES GASLIGHT YOU INTO GIVING UP YOUR OWN FUCKING MONEY.
