The conclusion that young voters were more likely to support conservatives is not supported by any of our election polling. Male voters over 35 were decidedly CPC supporters. A majority on men under 35 voted liberal and women across all age groups were very Liberal. Poilievre sewed the seeds of his own misfortune by never once connecting with female voters ( who repeated expressed disapproval). Carney brought a fresh face to the Liberals and the promise of change - time will tell whether he can cast off the Trudeau spirits that haunt the PMO.
