Fighting Like It's 2019, While Democracy Burns

They told us they would fight.

Democrats stood at podiums and made promises. They said "no one is above the law." They said "we will resist." They said "we will defend democracy."

And when the regime started arresting judges for standing up to illegal detentions?

And yes, representatives did fly to El Salvador.

They wrote a letters & they posted on social media. They went back to brunch.

They stood at the podium again and said “Fight”

Is this the fight they promised?

They did segments on MSNBC and said “The administration is using dangerous rhetoric”

The regime isn't waiting for your stupid investigations. The regime isn't respecting subpoenas. The regime isn't obeying courts.

The regime is not waiting for you to demand Hegseth’s step down.

They're moving. Fast. Hard. Without apology. And they are moving without giving a single shit, what any Democrat says.

Meanwhile, my party as a whole is pretending it's still 2019. As if calling for "hearings" and "strongly worded letters" will make a single regime loyalist blink.

It won't.

FACT:

Letters won't stop ICE from abducting Americans without probable cause.

Letters won't stop judges from being intimidated or arrested.

Letters won't stop the regime from consolidating power, while you are focused on the distraction of the day.

The only thing that will stop them is powerful, coordinated, real-world action.

Lawsuits that jam the system until it breaks. Procedural warfare in Congress to slow every action to a crawl. Mass mobilization in the streets, in the courts, in the court of public opinion. Flooding every screen, every feed, every forum with the truth until it cannot be ignored in a massive coordinated messaging offensive.

That is what "fighting" looks like.

Stop playing by the old rules when the other side is tearing up the rulebook.

History won't remember who posted the best letter and posted it on Twitter. History will remember those members who stood up when it mattered most.

Choose wisely. The clock is ticking.

And please, spare me the list of the same 7 or 8 elected officials we see every day. They're fighting - but they're not enough.

Every single tool available should be used at this moment.

I have read every lawsuit, every letter, every single demand for an investigation.

Leadership has to fight in a coordinated way!

Democrats must stop wasting airtime answering regime nonsense. Every second you speak should be spent winning the narrative war, not reacting to their f-ing bait.

We are at the tipping point here, and do me a favor. Watch the Sunday morning news shows and then come back and tell me you are confident the dems have this locked?
