The app for independent voices

It does not serve the Democratic Party, or the Democratic voters to let them off scot free. They need to stop treating the GOP as if it is acting in good faith. It isn't, and it hasn't been for decades. The Democrats in Congress repeatedly give the GOP a pass, and worse, they let their own Senator, Manchin, walk all over them. They haven't changed their tactics OR their messaging to reflect the fact that the Republican Party is breaking the Senate (with the help of Manchin and Sinema). They need to fight back, with everything they have. I'm not seeing that happen.

The fact is that even the Democrats in Congress and the other Democratic organizations aren't consistently blaming the Republicans. They should be doing this every time they appear in front of a microphone. Instead, we get "my esteemed colleague" this, and "my old friend" that. The time for revering civility over action is long gone. And it's up to us to make sure they understand that.
