This week, I was invited to to Chongqing to participate to a discussion - hosted in the studios of the Western China International Communication Organization (WCICO) - on the theme of multipolarity, together with political economist Ben Norton who is currently doing his PhD at Tsinghua University.
This is the full keynote address I gave at the event, in free access, on the theme of “From Unipolar Ambitions to Multipolar Survival: The U.S. Shift Toward Coexistence.”
My main argument is that the U.S. is being forced into coexistence with China - not because it wants to, but because it no longer has a choice.
