Someone messaged me yesterday to say they’re unfollowing because I’m ‘too political.’ Here’s the thing…I’m a pastor talking about feeding the hungry, welcoming the stranger, and caring for the vulnerable. If that feels political to you, maybe the problem isn’t me. Maybe it’s that we’ve made basic human dignity a partisan issue.
