Under international law, Iran has no claim to the strait of Hormuz. Yet it clams to be able to charge for safe passage and attack any ship they please, at any time. This is piracy, extortion, and terrorism. I used to be wary of this war but now I understand the logic behind it. Iran’s present occupiers would see the whole country destroyed and rule over the ashes than follow international law.
