Ostriches Executed in Canada for No Good Reason. The children are watching. By Dr. Robert W. Malone and Dr. Jill Glasspool Malone (11/08/25). Updated 11/14/25, 11/17/25 (ostrich segment on Highwire)
malone.news/p/ostriches…
In a horrific and senseless murder, nearly 400 ostriches were executed for no good reason by Canadian government-hired marksman. They were not sick. They were offered asylum in the US — by Dr. Oz, no less! They posed no danger to people or other birds — until the were gunned down and their dead bodies left to rot in the sun and be eaten by wild vultures.
This act was nothing more than a cruel and tyrannical government showing what it could do to anyone and anything.
Everyone, please read and share this article. It’s iconic of things to come, not just in Canada but worldwide if we do nothing and stay silent.
First the birds, then us!
ED NOTE
☠️💉Canada already has laws (tinyurl.com/s5jfk7ku) that enable broad categories of people to choose Medical Assistance in Dying (MAID). The US is not far behind: tinyurl.com/yjsk5ndy.
🤔 We wonder... How soon will MAID become mandatory for unwanted populations, such as hopelessly vaccine injured and cancer stricken, severely autistic, frail elderly, and others who cannot “contribute” to society?
Summary (Grok ai, edited; images from article)
⚠️Images Note: Some dead ostrich images are very graphic. Peanut and Fred were executed by New York State just for existing. Last image is the Malone’s beloved emu Gizmo.
This summary is sanitized to “Just the Facts.” It doesn’t begin to convey the heartbreaking cruelty or stupidity of governmental action against helpless domestic bird flocks and their caretakers.
We encourage you to read and share the full article.
What Happened?
Canadian government executed nearly 400 ostriches on a farm in British Columbia, citing avian influenza (likely untrue as avian flu was long gone in this flock).
Despite offers from US officials and Dr. Oz to relocate them, the birds were gunned down by professional marksmen at night. Carcasses were left exposed to rot in the sun for vultures to eat and then fly away.
These actions are similar to past draconian reactions during the Canadian truckers' rally and the New York State killing of Peanut the squirrel and Fred the raccoon, who were beloved well-cared-for rescue pets.
Background on Ratites Ratites, including ostriches and emus, are flightless birds lacking a sternal keel, related to dinosaurs. They originated in the Northern Hemisphere 105-115 million years ago, with modern ostriches' fossils dating to 20 million years ago in Africa. Jill Malone describes ostriches as sweet and goofy, beloved by their keepers.
Personal Connection The Malones have an emu named Gizmo who is friends with a goose, plus peafowl, chickens, and guinea fowl. They have lifelong experience with homesteading and birds (including parrots and zoo work).
Execution Details Marksmen used hay bale blockades and hunting blinds to round up the ostriches (with no shelter!). Owners and reporters heard gunfire but were barred from the property. Airspace was restricted; filming risked arrest. Carcasses were covered with tarps, and left in the open for vultures to feast on the dead.
Government Response and Implications Canadian Food Inspection Agency's actions ignored science, per Dr. Byram W. Bridle's essay (tinyurl.com/37hwu8p2).
These governmental actions are similar to what happened with Peanut the squirrel and Fred the raccoon, who were killed by New York State just for existing as beloved and well-cared for rescued wild-animal pets (tinyurl.com/yc8epws3 | tinyurl.com/yj2r575t).
Jill Malone warns small farmers against reporting sick birds to avoid culling (aka extermination) and quarantine, with no compensation to small farmers.
ED NOTE
Of course, we know USDA has been killing or sponsoring the demise of chickens — especially egg-laying hens — on a massive scale. All for an “avian flu” that’s mostly preventable, easily misdiagnosed, and can result in a more flu-resistant flock among the survivors.
The US Government offers financial incentives to corporate entities to kill their hens. Remember the not-so-long-ago egg scarcity and high prices? You can thank senseless USDA policies to kill all birds if even one or a few were PCR-test diagnosed with “avian flu.”
Here's the policy, straight from the USDA: aphis.usda.gov/livestoc…
Alternatives to Culling
Let diseases run course in flocks, use biosecurity, breed survivors.
Joel Salatin bred long-lived flu-resistant chickens and has written books about poultry farming.
Wild birds build immunity; new flu strains evolve.
Heritage breeds including Fayoumi, Nicobari, and indigenous chickens resist avian flu.
Cross breed resistant birds into commercial lines.
Buy from auctions, trustworthy Facebook groups (ask breeders about resistance in their flocks); use resistant roosters.
Benefits of Resistant Strains
Tackle pathogens effectively.
Aid in understanding host genetics.
Reduce antibiotic use.
Enhance economic viability, especially in low/middle-income countries.
Advice for Backyard Owners Ten percent of Americans keep backyard chickens.
Be aware that government protects commercial interests, not small farmers.
Breed healthy birds traditionally.
Avoid registering flocks if at all possible.
Find trustworthy professionals and avoid vets who will report illnesses to USDA.
Learn all you can about proper breeding and animal husbandry so you can prevent illness and take wise, compassionate, and effective action if birds in your flock become sick.
Bonus advice from us…
Give birds free roam, safe feed, and fresh air.
Let them eat bugs (good for birds, not so much for people).
Rotate their pasture location.

Final Thoughts
This is just the most heartless, stomach turning turn of events. The Canadian Government should meet the same fate as these blameless birds — except the Canadian Government is NOT blameless. No, not being shot, but having their lifeblood cut off:
All trade with Canada must stop.
Americans must boycott the country.
These farmers must receive restitution for their flock, pain, and suffering along with an abject apology (fat chance of this happening).
Malone wrote:
But the aftermath of these policies will be that every small farm owner in Canada and the USA has now been notified:
If you have sick animals, particularly birds, the message is do not call your local veterinarian, do not seek medical treatment, as the vet will be required to report Avian influenza cases to the state governments. In the United States, that would be to the state health authorities. That would mean almost certain death for the entire flock.
For the small farmer or owner of a backyard flock, there is no financial compensation when this happens.
The same advice holds true for sick humans and pets. Stay away from doctors and vets. Use natural methods or a truly trustworthy professional who has NO government or insurance ties and will do everything off the record. We must stop this before governments destroy every living thing in their paths. Just heartsick over this!

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA, tinyurl.com/yc49p4ex) destroyed 300+ healthy and beloved ostriches over a year-old PCR result in a senseless act of tyrannical control.
Learn about the failed odyssey of the farmers and their supporters to stop this bureaucratic, immoral slaughter of innocent, trusting birds. In a heart wrenching interview, Del and the farmer’s daughter Katie Pasitney ask: What does this horrific murder mean for farming, food security, independent science, and health freedom?
Plus, a bombshell study exposes major flaws in the PCR test that shaped global COVID policy and this murderous act by the CFIA. Many so-called conspiracy theorists (including died-under-mysterious-circumstances PCR inventor Kary Mullis) have long stated the dangers of relying on PCR tests, especially those processed with high cycle thresholds. Such tests produce an overwhelming number of false positives and were never meant to diagnose their way out of a wet paper bag!
