Just when you think Trump and his wacko administration can’t possible get any worse, they do something crazier than anything they have ever done before. Their latest insanity is their attempt to prove that the algae bloom in the reflecting pool must have been put there by vandals. They have arrested a man who merely touched the water in the pool and charged him with a crime that carries a ten-year penalty if he is convicted. Many years ago I read Ken Kesey’s brilliant novel, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest. Trump has turned his administration and our capital city into a giant cuckoo’s nest.
