Sadly most of my other previews came up short, with Poseidon’s Warrior dropped from the notebook section, after a poor effort in first-time headgear. I fear he faces the cruelest cut of all in the near future.

My one other bet looked to have come with a winning move, only for his early keenness and in need of the run doing for Remmooz, who faded into third.

I’ve put up another three previews for Saturday’s racing, with one bet advised and an each-way selection for the 2,000 Guineas.
