Kind of hypocritical since Egypt has a wall on its border with Gaza rivaling the Berlin Wall, to make sure not a single Palestinian refugee crosses into Egypt.

Between 2013 and 2015, Egypt evicted 3,200 Rafah families, blew up 3,250 ‘Palestinian’ homes, and razed hundreds of acres of farmland in its bid to destroy illegal smuggling tunnels connecting the Gaza Strip with Egypt’s northern Sinai Peninsula.

“The Egyptian authorities provided residents with little or no warning of the evictions, no temporary housing, mostly inadequate compensation for their destroyed homes — none at all for their farmland,” Human Rights Watch said in a statement.

But why did Egypt do this? Because Hamas jihadists had killed 31 Egyptian troops in a coordinated assault on a checkpoint some 30 kilometers (20 miles) away from Rafah. Due to the constant danger of such attacks, the Egyptians wanted to create a buffer zone between Egypt and Gaza.

They didn't ask for anyone's permission. The UN didn't condemn Egypt for it. Western media didn't accuse them of being an apartheid state.

Why not, since, as most people probably don't know, Rafah is split in two, with half in Egypt and half in the southern Gaza Strip.

But hey, it's all about demonizing Israel.
