Make money doing the work you believe in

Black Women's Equal Pay Day is not a reminder. It is a receipt.

July 21 marks Black Women's Equal Pay Day for 2026. Equal Pay Today reported that Black women earn 65 cents for every dollar earned by non-Hispanic white men for full-time, year-round work, and 63 cents when all earners are included.

They also calculated that closing the annual wage gap would give a typical Black woman enough additional income to cover about 30 months of food, 23 months of child care, or 12 months of mortgage payments.

That is not a statistic. That is the missing grocery cart, the delayed medical appointment, the child care scramble, the house that stayed out of reach. The gap is not abstract when it has been eating dinner at your table for years.
