If Political Appointees(PA) can choose what to hold, Black women know which facts stand to die.

This is not a quiet administrative review process of an OMB grant proposal with a protracted public commentary period.

It IS maternal health research. It IS disparity data. It IS data on workplace discrimination, on how doctors not listening leads to death, and on how policy not adequately protecting people exacerbates outcomes and inequality for entire communities.

Black women know this policy is NOT about governance. Black women know this is NOT about managing scientific inquiry. The post-comment OMB grant proposal period for the National Public Policy Institute Grant from August to October is actually about not wanting to hear truths that make some powerbrokers feel uncomfortable and the policy that makes it easier to stop learning them:
