2009: Carol and I retired from our local Dem Central Committee when Obama won. The next year, the Supreme Court responded to that election. Their ruling in Citizens United was about taking power from citizens and giving it to the uber-wealthy. The year was 2010. I told my business partner “we are fucked”.
