Trump once called soldiers who died in war “losers” and “suckers.” John Kelly, who lost his Marine son, said it best: “He [Trump] just thinks that anyone who does anything when there’s no direct personal gain to be had is a sucker. There’s no money in serving the nation.”

The National Guard should think hard about taking orders from a man who thinks their sacrifice is worthless.
