I have gotten access to the French state’s entire case against Epstein’s business partner Jean-Luc Brunel, who died in a French prison of alleged suicide 2 years after Epstein.

In at least one of the documents, French authorities confirm internally that the US government did not respond to their request for help in 2020:

(this has been translated from French to English)

“On 4 July 2020, a request for international mutual legal assistance was sent to the U.S. authorities for the purpose of obtaining the interviews of the American or foreign victims heard by the American service in charge of the investigation across the Atlantic that had implicated Jean-Luc BRUNEL and/or the Karin MODELS agency in the facts of which they declared themselves victims — whether these took place in France or in any other country — as well as all documents seized within the MC2 agency directed by Jean-Luc BRUNEL, and in particular any document implicating modelling agencies located in South America and Eastern Europe, and all documents relating to Jeffrey EPSTEIN's private jet travel mentioning the identities of the passengers (in particular those bound for France or listing passengers of French nationality).

More generally, any item concerning French victims, persons of French nationality, acts committed in France, and finally mentioning Jean-Luc BRUNEL was requested.

This request had remained without response to date.”
