Hello everyone,

I'm back from my travels with plenty of stories to tell. I had intentions of keeping you all updated with a daily blog as to how I was getting on but it became impossible to do it hence I only got as far as chapter one, The Savage Southwest part 1. Even my regular social media channels were sketchy with some reports going missing for a couple of days at a time.

But there will be a follow up, there may as well be a complete story. Heck, so much went on I could write an actual book, now there's an idea!

With my break on the isle of Orkney, my visit to Aberdeen and a whole weekend as it turned out in Edinburgh there's another 2 chapters there as well.

I survived to tell the tale at least with all it's ups and downs, trials and tribulations. It's been quite an adventure, with some unexpected turns particularly in Scotland where at times even I had my doubts whether I would finish in time.

For now I'll leave you with a tranquil scene from the beautiful Orkney isles and will be back to writing the full story as soon as I can.
