Yes, Russians are that retarded. If anyone was still hoping for a popular uprising in Russia as life deteriorates, this will not happen. Instead they will blame others for their misfortune, but never their own government and their own ineptitude.

It's because Putin's regime is the perfect embodiment of the Russian population. It is absolutely natural for the Russian context. And importantly, Russians feel it as natural to them. It reflects their psyche perfectly. You will not oppose, least of all rebel against, something that feels congenial to you.

The only solution therefore is to defeat Russia militarily, not in a defensive but an offensive war. To deal a deadly blow to this abomination from the outside, which would unleash the desintegratory forces inside of it.
