Andy Burnham’s new director of Political Strategy compiled his favourite books of 2025, which included “How to Defeat the Far Right” by Nick Lowles.

Matthew McGregor wrote: “Nick is a brilliant writer to go along with his unique and vital antifascist organising. I’ve loved all of his books but this one is the best to date. A difficult topic but never heavy, accessible to read but really thought provoking. And despite ~waves at everything~ really quite hopeful.”
