I want for Kamala to be picked as a running mate because she's the most qualified person, not because she's the most qualified person among only 8% of the population.
Her lived experience as a black woman very well may give her a unique and beneficial perspective for the country. I don't dislike her, I dislike Biden for making her DEI.
If you really want equality, you wouldn't predicate the VP position based on race and gender. Biden did that. That's not equality that's preferential.
He should have just picked without prior mention of gender and race.
