I attended a fundraiser for Washington Governor Bob Ferguson a few days ago. Governor Walz was also there.

Keep an eye on Ferguson. He is doing solid opposition work in a field of disappointing performers.

When they mentioned that he refuses corporate donations, and remember this was a fancy political event, I yelled "WOOOOO HELL YEAH."

He was using a lot of oppositional language that echoed soft secession principles. Some of it overrepresented the progress Washington has actually made, but I want to give credit where it's due. This kind of shift in rhetoric does not happen without sustained grassroots pressure. The ball is rolling.

Remember, the lobbyists, oligarchs, and foreign governments NEVER stop telling these people what they want and pushing for more of what they want, so we must be just as persistent, and also louder.
