What do I say to politicians?

The answer?

These people are educated and experienced in obfuscation and excuses.

We have a tactical disadvantage from MAGA because we have humility. We have the ability to question our views and say "what if I'm wrong."

That is really a disadvantage tactically, but better for those of us who care about the whole "not being a bad person" part of the equation.

So "what do I say"

Speak your mind.

Things are bad..clearly. they can break the law, then change the rules so we can't fight back? Imagine of a boxing match involving these standards!

Say it clearly, because reality and justice are not a debate: "Republicans are a transnational criminal organization leading a hostile takeover of our law judicial, legislative, and executive branches. The rule of law is subordinate to justice. Stand up for what's right or know you'll be remembered as bending the knee to tyrants.

Say it how you want and don't let them gaslight you.

There's no good excuse for not doing anything to stop this.

We are all in the laboratory and what's our experiment?

Well the experiment is democracy, but the form it takes right now is letting politicians know that their ass is on the line if they won't fight for democracy because we are here for it! So step up or resign because the stakes literally cannot be higher!
