BREAKING: Chief Judge Patrick Schiltz of the federal district court in Minnesota on Monday night set a contempt hearing for Friday in one of the hundreds of habeas cases in the state pending as a result of Operation Metro Surge.
Schiltz, a George W. Bush appointee, ordered acting ICE Director Todd Lyons personally to appear in court and face contempt for failure to comply with “dozens of court orders” during the surge.
