Do people who work in political comms think their language is effective? ‘Minister is committed to… priority areas… leading an ambiitous plan… wider sector consultation…’. Not being snide, I am genuinely curious; I suppose it’s a risk-averse strategy, can’t be seen to say nothing but don’t actually want attention which could become scrutiny?
