I had a friend recently respond to one of my Facebook posts with this comment: “You should have been worried about Obama, Biden and Clinton. Crooks and Traitors.”

My response, which I probably should expand on when I have more than a few minutes, was:

“No one else tried to dismantle our entire system of government. No one else behaved like a dictator. No one else removed all dignity from the Office. No one else turned career civil servants with an oath and a duty to the Constitution into employees loyal only to one man. No one else turned our allies into adversaries. No one else served an ally (Ukraine) up on a plate to one of our enemies (Russia). No one else personally insulted and demeaned everyone, both those that are involved in politics and those that are not, including the disabled. No one else turned the entirety of the federal government into his “revenge machine” to go after anyone who has dared wrong him, even if that perceived “wrong” was within the legal requirements of their employment. No one else diminished the Office of the President so much or turned into into their own commercial venture. No one else took the country down the road of fascism.”
