I am an unaffiliated voter—not a Democrat, Republican, or Independent. I was a Republican until 2000, and I just could not bring myself to vote for “W” —would love to have a beer with him, but not run the country. I realized over time that absolutely nothing I believe in aligns with the Republican Party, but have decided to give myself an affiliation that says “I am voting for a candidate, not a political party . The time to contact our Senators and Congresspeople is long past doing any good. The Democrats have no voting power, and the Republicans are putting their reelection over their Country. I would like to see the Democrats put together an all inclusive cohesive message and yell it —-scattered posts across the Metaverse is not going to cut it. We need a grassroots movement. It needs to involve Democrats and disenchanted Republicans (and those numbers are growing). Our country is facing something we have never faced before and the old tactics are not going to work.
