Excerpt from a conversation with Cinnamon Cyclone (pt 1/2): “a small expansion for you on my differentiation between ‘One in a Generation’ figures and figures like Buddha and Christ:

I believe that every high velocity individual is ultimately attempting to ascertain Truth in some way shape or form.

Whether it be through mathematics, physics, artistic pursuits, militaristic, political, or philosophical pursuits— Truth is the higher/highest domain of Value that I was referencing in the essay I shared. I think if you stumble a little too far into upper echelons Truth, you start treading into a territory which humanity has coined sloppy heuristics for: the Divine. God. Holy.

I say sloppy not in a derogatory manner but because language cannot contain the kind of Truth we are trying to describe here. It is Truth that supersedes our ability to Understand. Patterns that by their very nature contain too much information for our hardware to fully grasp.

This is what I think creates that gap between Great figures like Napoleon and figures like Confucius/Buddha/Christ: Napoleon is a hypercar, but not F1. His pattern recognition engine and embodied action vehicle (or Orientation x Agency to use your heuristic) come together to create high velocity thought/action that reshaped the world. He saw truth, and he made it manifest. What differentiates him from civilizational figures is one higher echelon of truth— one so incomprehensible that when the average commuter car looks at it they cannot see anything other than holiness, divinity, and God. F1 is not merely higher IQ or larger agency. It is contact with transpersonal symbolic truth at a scale where the person becomes a vessel for civilization’s self-understanding.

Not to get preachy on you or anything. But you can look at figures like George Washington too: he wrote in a letter to his mother that during a battle he witnessed four bullets go through his coat, and yet he survived unharmed as countless compatriots were slain around him. He attributed this to Providence— the hand of God protecting him.

I think at a certain point when an individual’s Orientation/Agency reverberates together in a way that has civilizational impact— Fate and God and forces quite literally beyond our comprehension begin to come into play. But maybe I’m insane. Who knows.
