Maybe “ready for a fight” or in other words, “ready for a spot of the ole ultraviolence” really aren’t that different from “the peak of derangement.”

I get that there’s a time for force (in service/protection of life for example), but generally, trying to convey that violence is the outcome you’re pulling for is deranged, in the “antisocial” sense.
