I am a long-term survivor of spinal cord injury that caused permanent paralysis (quadriplegia). I have an MSW and worked as a social worker and grant writer/evaluator. I am well-traveled, a landscape painter and an activist for social justice.

In 1975 at age 19, I sustained a permanent severe injury (complete paralysis from my chest down.) I am now 68 and regard myself as a survivor. My writing focuses on my trials and tribulations and experiences honestly and unfiltered.
